The bandwidth of music is often overlooked. Over the airwaves, the satellites, and the stream, songwriters, and musicians broadcast more than sound. Music changes the way you feel, it can lift you up and bring you down. It can change your mind and that of a generation. Music influences and advocates, birthing ideas and movements. Music expresses what we find hard to say, both for the artist and the listener. It calms our anxieties and stress and evokes dormant memories. Music comes from the joys and sufferings that bend our lives.

Chris Martin wrote in the song Atlas:

Sometimes the wire
Must tense for the note

We’ll be talking to our guests about their wire, where their music comes from. We’ll learn about their creative process and the birth of an idea. How music changes their lives and that of the community. We’ll talk about the power of music in advocacy.

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” – Plato

We’ve known it since the beginning. We’re just going to talk about it up close and personal.
